Ms Ute Braasch is Deputy President (Administration) at the National University of Singapore. A seasoned C‑Suite executive with more than 30 years’ experience leading complex transformations, large-scale operations and people strategies across various fields, Ute has held senior leadership roles in organisations around the world. 

Ute’s former roles include Chief People and Culture Officer at Ollion, where she led the complex post-merger integration of five start-ups across Singapore, India, Indonesia and the United States to build a cohesive global technology consultancy. 

Prior to Ollion, Ute spent over a decade at global real estate services company JLL in senior leadership roles, in which she oversaw global operations—including for the Americas and Asia Pacific—and led business transformation efforts in workforce realignment, digitisation and reskilling initiatives, among others. 

Ute is a pragmatic leader who aligns diverse stakeholders around clear operating models and measurable outcomes while balancing rapid delivery with people-centred change management. She is a passionate developer and mentor of talent, committed to building leaders and cultures that enable long‑term organisational performance. 

A German citizen who made Singapore her home over 30 years ago, Ute has lived and worked across Southeast Asia, India, Australia, the United States and Europe. She is a proud mother of three, a volunteer mentor for several non-profit organisations, and an intrepid traveller. She holds an MBA from Melbourne University and is a doctoral candidate at SDA Bocconi, Milan.
